Job seekers are attracted to the international dimension of tourism, interaction with people of diverse backgrounds, location and dynamism of the sector.

In a survey, job seekers were asked if they agree or disagree with different features of tourism careers.

The following 9 statements were used to assess their opinions about the positive aspects of tourism careers.



Job Seekers Attitudes About Jobs in Tourism


The survey shows that job seekers agree with all 9 positive aspects. They strongly agree with the general outlook of tourism, its growth and international dimension. They mostly agree that tourism offers exciting careers, employment links and allows the application of skills and theory.

Overall, job seekers prefer full-time permanent contracts with fixed salaries, preferably in the entertainment, recreations and attractions subsector. They also prefer administrative and managerial posts.
